This brand new picture frame is manufactured in the USA at our facility in Ithaca, Michigan using the best materials and tools available. Our picture and poster frames LARGER THAN OR EQUAL TO 12x18 inches (inside dimensions) include clear STYRENE facing, a rigid cardboard backing and hanging hardware. Some assembly is required to attach the hanging hardware to the frame. Visit our seller info page for assembly instructions. Hanging hardware includes: (2) 1" Nails, (1) 30# capacity Wall Hanger, (1) 4' length of Hanging Wire, (2) D-Rings, (2) 1/2" Screws. Before hanging your frame, please remember to peel off the blue protective film from the styrene facing (or acrylic facing if you upgraded) for maximum clarity. By BRV This frame looks pretty cheap up close, but when you move back 3-5 feet it looks fairly decent. Its made of a cheap particle board/cardboard material with a thin veneer glued to it. Also, when I got this frame in the mail the front glass was shattered; it is very thin glass. 8 of 8 people found the following review helpful. What looked nice online was really just a cardboard frame covered in wood colored tape. It's not even fake wood! To top it off the edges of the tape were peeling already, exposing the cardboard. It comes with all the hardware you need to hang it and it's well-built, sturdy and comes with a protective film over the "glass". In fact, perhaps my only complaint about this frame is that it looks higher quality than it really is. The antiqued wood is actually just printed on laminate and the glass isn't real glass, it's some kind of clear acrylic or plastic. These charming picture frames in the Barnwood Series are made from authentic weathered hardwood recycled from barns and homes in Oklahoma and Texas. How's that for Made in America? Part of the charm is that no two frames look alike. Irregular joints and minor imperfections including knots, holes, and slight color variations are due to the nature of the wood.
