Each is carefully handcrafted, and we've embellished this "Park City Series" frame with dark metal corner brackets to give it a truly unique look. We start with a 1.5" wide piece of naturally-aged barnwood and hand-distress the edges, then add a 1/2 inch interior molding made of dark walnut-stained alder wood. The finished frame width is 2" wide, and each accommodates one 16x20 photograph. The frame includes glass and you can order either an easel back (for resting the frame on a table or desk) or a foam core backing with sawtooth hanger (for hanging the frame on a wall). This frame is manufactured in the USA, using the best materials and tools available. Our frames larger than 12x18 inches include styrene facing (acrylic upgrade is available), a rigid cardboard backing and hanging hardware. Some assembly is required to attach the hanging hardware to the frame. Hanging hardware includes: (1) 1" Nail, (1) 30# capacity Wall Hanger, (1) 9'6" length of Hanging Wire, (2) D-Rings, (2) 1/2" Screws. They included two hooks, screws & picture wire (nicer than the usual frame store "nail in" sawtooth hanger) and a picture hanging hook for the wall. The backer board included is just cardboard, no foamcore or matboard. The only disappointment--from the pictures I expected a faint green tint to the wood of the frame, but as delivered it is a dark charcoal grey, almost black.
